I am really not well informed on yoga.I am a 54 year old male. Can yoga help me fitness wise? I believe there are breathing excercises to relieve stress
Yes. And, yes. Yoga definitely improves fitness levels at any age, and "pranayama," also known as breathwork is a fantastic and effective way to reduce stress.
